The courtiers of Akbar II had attached some individuals for the improvement of education. Often, anyone who had connections with the courtiers would find themselves attached to some “mansab” (position) in the capital, “Ichhapur Sikri.” Akbar II himself was not highly educated, but he appeared deeply concerned about the education system. He did not pay much attention to other departments, but his focus on the education department was exceptional.  Those who were attached to the court were called “Saathi” (companions). He had entrusted the responsibility of the education department to “Nyuratna,” who also held the title of “Daroga-e-Shiksha” (Education Superintendent). अकबर द्वितीय के दरबारियों ने शिक्षा की बेहतरी के लिए कुछ लोगों को अटैचमेंट पर रखा था। अक्सर जिसकी भी दरबारियों से सेटिंग रहती, वह राजधानी ‘इच्छापुर सीकरी’ में किसी न किसी ‘मनसब’ में अटैच कर लिए जाते। अकबर द्वितीय खुद कम पढ़े लिखे थे। लेकिन शिक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर वह चिंतित दिखते थे। अन्य विभागों में क्या हो रहा है, इस पर वह ज्यादा ध्यान नहीं देते थे, पर शिक्षा विभाग पर उनका विशेष फोकस रहता था। जिन भी लोगों को दरबार में अटैच किया जाता था, उनको ‘साथी’ कहा जाता था। उन्होंने शिक्षा विभाग की जिम्मेदारी ‘न्यूरत्न’ को दे रखी थी। वही ‘दरोगा-ए-शिक्षा’ भी थे। एक दिन उन्होंने न्यूरत्न को कहा कि मैं कल साथियों से मिलना चाहता हूँ। कल कुछ शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर चर्चा भी हो जाएगी। दूसरे दिन न्यूरत्न सभी साथियों को लेकर समय से पहले दरबार में हाजिर हो गये थे। बादशाह अकबर भी कुछ […]
